Don Watts The Freaks helped support the Charleston Riverfront half-marathon this weekend and had a blast riding around the 1000s of runners challenging themselves….good fun times! Off Road Assault on Mt Mitchell was a blast! Congratulations to: Adam Dewitt: Top 10 finish in SingleSpeed class with a time of 6:59:45!! Incredible! Andy Campbell: Shaved almost a full hour off of his last years effort! Ending time: 9:29:59 Joel Watson: Personal accomplishment of beating his last years time by 3.5 hours! Ending time of 7:49:33 Awesome results guys! Way to represent the LowCountry! All riders did well… Congratulations to Dave Hall on his third place finish in SingleSpeed! Yeah Dave! Joel got 8th in singlespeed… Good work guys! Recap at: Pictures!! The Freaks met up at the Ashborough Trail in Summerville today for some fun twisty singletrack riding. The Ashborough Trail is an excellent trail with great armouring in all the right spots. Fast with twists in the trail which really make you work to keep your speed. A definite challenge to your bike handling skills… Great work guys! View MotionBased Web Data…The Fat Tire Freaks participated in the Tour de Cure fundraiser ride for Diabetes this weekend. Extreme temperatures and unexpected multiple hill climbs did not break their spirits. A great time was had by all. Waiting at the finish was a great lunch with lots of cold frosty refreshments! Congrats to Luke Farrow for riding and completing his first metric century! Way to go Luke!
