‘Group Rides’The Fat Tire Freaks participated in the Tour de Cure fundraiser ride for Diabetes this weekend. Extreme temperatures and unexpected multiple hill climbs did not break their spirits. A great time was had by all. Waiting at the finish was a great lunch with lots of cold frosty refreshments! Congrats to Luke Farrow for riding and completing his first metric century! Way to go Luke! Pleasant was kind enough to allow anyone who had the urge to stress test their finest selection of equipment on the Marrington Test Track…. Link to their site: http://trekbikesofmountpleasant.com/ There were awesome high-end bikes from both Gary Fisher as well as Trek…more than enough bike for the trails out here… There was great food as well as a good excuse for everyone to just hang out and drink, eat and ride together… Thanks goes to Don Watts, and Trek bike shop for the great event! Lights are required in the fall and winter months.
